For your consideration — Erwin Hoffer of Kaiserslautern. Easy to overlook, as 1FCK were not on most people’s radar, but this very important late-season goal surely merits consideration. 1FCK were down 2-1, and with this goal began their comeback to win 2-4.

Yes, that Messi goal against Villarreal made my shortlist. He scored a very similar goal against Panathinaikos in the Champions League as well.
