I’d take Gaitan’s goal over Rommedahl’s. Both were exquisite, inch-perfect strikes, but Rommedahl was lucky the ball fell the way it did, whereas Benfica engineered Gaitan’s look at goal through the run of play. Team goals like that give me goosebumps. Well in.
